Terms of Service

By using VedicBirth, you agree to what follows. Please read the disclaimer — it is the part that matters most.

The disclaimer

VedicBirth does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Readings are interpretations of a Vedic birth chart, offered for reflection. They are not a diagnosis, a prediction of fact, or professional guidance. Do not use them in place of a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer, or a financial adviser — particularly for decisions about your health, your money, or your safety.

You are responsible for the decisions you make. We are not liable for outcomes that follow from acting on a reading.

If you are in crisis

If you are thinking about harming yourself, please talk to someone who can actually help. In India, Tele-MANAS is free and available 24/7 on 14416. VedicBirth is not a crisis service and cannot be one.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Sign-in is by phone number. Keep access to that number secure — anyone who can receive its messages can reach your account.
  • One account per person. Do not share it.
  • Give accurate birth details. The reading is computed from what you enter; wrong details produce a wrong chart, and that is not a fault we can fix afterwards.

What you pay for

  • Reports and readings are one-time purchases. Once paid for, they remain in your vault.
  • Credits are consumed as you use them.
  • A subscription renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Prices are in Indian rupees. We will not run fake countdowns or invented scarcity to hurry you.

Refunds are covered separately in our refund policy.

What you may not do

  • Resell, redistribute, or publish our readings as your own.
  • Scrape the service, or attempt to extract the underlying interpretation library.
  • Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
  • Use VedicBirth to harass, profile, or make decisions about another person without their knowledge — including entering someone else's birth details to draw conclusions about them.

What belongs to whom

The app, the interpretation library, and the writing are ours. What you write — your questions, notes, and life events — remains yours. We use it to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. We aim to keep it running and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change. If we discontinue something you have paid for and not yet received, we will refund it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall to the courts of India.
